Cup Series : (COT Race 31 / Chase 5) Robinson brings the heat on cool October night.



It was déjà-vu all over again as the NBVRL Cup field was brought to the green flag at Lowes Motor Speedway by Rog Hurley in his #33 Chevy for the fourth race in a row. Hurley had laid down a blistering lap in qualifying of 28.653sec. bettering second place Jim MacLeod by more than 2 tenths.

Cup Series : (COT Race 30 / Chase 4) Robinson Makes it 3 Chase Wins at California.


A slick California track made for a challenging race in the latest NBVRL Chase event. As several teams struggled with the loose setup, the #33 VIA ride of Rog Hurley looked to be fast off the truck with another pole run in qualifying. Jared Meade, who also started on the front row, used the outside line to motor past Hurley on lap 3 and take the lead.
