Cup Series : (COT Race 29 / Chase 3) Robinson makes it two in a row at Kansas



The 3rd race in the NBVRL Cup Chase saw the #33 of Rog Hurley put his VIA Rail ride on the pole for the second race in a row alongside chase leader Jared Meade. A loose racetrack meant several drivers had their hands full including Clarence Robinson who wrecked his primary car in qualifying.

Cup Series : (COT Race 28 / Chase 2) Robinson Tames the Monster


The second race of the NBVRL Cup Chase saw the field led to the green flag by the #33 VIA Rail Chevy of Rog Hurley. The 1 mile Dover concrete track proved to be slick on this night and on lap 4 the #85 machine of Mike McCullough got loose in turn 4 setting off a wild wreck involving 6 cars. The #17 of Jim MacLeod and the #98 of current points leader Jared Meade took major hits with MacLeod ending up barrel-rolling down the backstretch. Meade and Macleod would both be done for the night.

Cup Series : (COT Race 27 / Chase 1) Seymour Strikes First in Chase



In the first race of the Chase for the NBVRL Cup the action was fast and furious at a track that is notorious for being hard to pass on. The 1 mile New Hampshire Motor Speedway was the setting as the 12 car field took the lead behind pole-sitter Jared Meade in his #98 Pizza Hut Fusion.
